A bid of 5 or 6 what? My group is petty burnt on AA:Revised. We found an allied strat early on that cannot be defeated even with the best of luck it seems (we're at 13-0 now). Game broken, we need to fix it to continue playing. Larry suggested providing more National Advantages as an "easy fix". Whi...

IPCs are an abstraction of a war economy. A Fighter unit isn't 10 IPCs because it takes one quarter of Germany's capacity to turn out a 'unit' of fighters. We don't even know how many planes a fighter model represents. And it doesn't matter really. Nevermind that you can build nothing but fighter pl...

1) You shouldn't lose your tech completely if you don't wish to pay for a turn. 2) I don't know what the percentages of output were for any of the WW2 tech achievements. It would be interesting to research that. However, I don't think it is important to get a historical percentage in the game. IPC i...

I dislike this idea - it would make each turn too powerful, especially the Allied turn where so much materiel could be hurled at Germany at the same time. Keep alternating Allied/Axis turns. I completely agree. I am with Aldretag. Basically implement a DDay style of play where all sides rotate thro...

From what I understand, a system has to be developed that does not require additional models.

I think Guerilla Guy is on the right track. I never liked tech in AA and would love to see it overhauled since it really is a big component of WW2. The idea I've always had in my head is to have a card for each technology (think a small card that will easily fit in your play area). Each card has n n...

Ok so now I am back to not liking the cards - unsold ;) The big mistake I made is thinking that event cards meant order cards, as in the DDay cards: a mechanic to drive the turns of the game and integrate the phases of the turn so that all nations are interacting more often. That was the beauty of t...

Thats the whole point of event cards. Tech rules are now elucidated only when you draw them, so the complexity is confined to the card itself. It will explain what / how it works. You can shuffle them ramdomly or in sequential order for History. Remember each nation draws a card only when durning a...
