Hi Black Elk. I think Japan can keep the Americans at bay, with very little Naval purchases, whilst rampaging through Asia. The US is too weak throughout the game. I have been able to play two games with the. New set up. (Both Axis victories, with the fall of Moscow.) It is a refreshing change to have the UK still in the game after R2. However, I believe that the Japanese need to be stripped of a capital ship. I think making the East Indian Battleship a Cruise...

Hi both.
On Djensen's A&A forum, most players will give the Allies a bid of 10.
I Would always add a Sub off India to facilitate the elimination of the Japanese Borneo fleet and an Inf in Egypt, to prevent an early fall.
Some choose 3 Russian units.

No first strike, no. Subs are unusually (for an A&A game) underpowered, possibly even useless, except as cannon fodder. Most players find the CP impossible to win with.
