Re: What I would like Larry to design

Now the mini for this giant Martian ship would be at least about 4x the size of W.W.II New Jersey mini in length. It would come in at least two parts that you snap together, with a third part to serve as a different superstructure, when in a carrier mode. This “flat top configuration” would show som...

Re: What I would like Larry to design

Minis and the problem of Martian Naval High Command. For the latter, there was never such a command, it was created when the invaders came to the earth. Their super size capital ships are a killer, unfortunately they put all their eggs in one basket. In real time the German King Tiger was costly and...

Re: What I would like Larry to design

These ships were hugh, the Texas was like a D.D. escorting one of these extra large capital ships. Actually built in an unmatian streamline Art Deco style. Clean lines, with most of the ships were never seen, as it was semi-submerged, with only some of the upper superstructure above the water line. ...

Re: What I would like Larry to design

Theses would be planned ships built on earth, but, material shipped from Mars. When the initial invasion failed, and, the realization of the retrofitted space ships into sea ships would not be enough. At first this unplanned expense of resources was met by the home planet Mars, but, as the war dragg...

Re: What I would like Larry to design

They eventually built more efficient ships, more of the old galleon version. A ship that was a military ship, but, also could transport military weapons, supplies, and, soldiers/sailors/airmen that used those weapons. Along with having to use recycled terrain weapons, much less the inferior steel th...

Re: What I would like Larry to design

The first Martian ships were repurpose ships that were “fired” from Mars, and had inside the original Martian invaders with their large Tripods. For game purposes these ships are very much larger, than the ones describe in the Well’s The War of the Worlds book. Using their local repair shop, adaptin...

Re: What I would like Larry to design

Now for Sea Units: In real time submarines from W.W.ll were captured and actually maybe used(His Majesty’s U-Boat), while the U.S.N. captured a sinking German U-Boat that was abandon by its crew. What would the Martians use a submarine, more in use spying and reconnaissance(maybe laying a type of mi...

Re: What I would like Larry to design

In real time, the Germans had a few bombers, and, actually used them. But there were never enough to actually make a squadron of Nazi B-17/24, much less fuel them. Their value was to recycle the metal of the destroyed Allied bombers. The Martians if they recycle a whole bomber, would actually use it...
