First of all ... a Happy New Year to all here on this forum.
I wish 2012 will be a healthy year for you and your families, with a lot of boardgame playing fun!

I really hope by now we're done with all the reprints and reinventions of existing games with new rules. It seems inventivity has come to a virtual standstill, not only with respect to board games but also movies, music and technology.

Let us hope 2012 will be an inventive year ...

The natural progression should now be an online / smartphone application. Let's get out of the 80's and create a more modern technology expression of Axis & Allies. Have we not waited long enough? Let the coder's make the rules easier to understand, which will translate to a better FTF board game experience and increase the learning curve of the game. But please let there be some testers who know what the rules are and have played in the community before releasing a final product.

Come on Larry, get passed alpha 3 for god's sake!!!

I agree time to get modern with Axis & Allies we need a online game or app something better than the way online play is currently being done. I do not want to have to type my moves. Its 2012 it should not be that hard!
