Whats the size of the map?
It is printed on one sheet only of high quality paper.
The measures are 244 x 120 cm. (approx. 96 x 47.2 inches).
We cover the map with three plexiglass sheets.

Tripoli?
Tobruk?
Talking about the Italians naval base, you can consider for sure Taranto and, if maybe you want add one more in North Italy, you can include La Spezia (North Tyrrhenian Sea facing). Tripoli and Tobruk were just a normal ports.

OK, I’ll do it. And thank you very much for offer your help in order to revise the translation.

Imperious leader wrote:Also have one question: why do the Japanese carriers have 3 planes and 2 of them at 45 degree angles, with the third at a different angle? Do they have different types of planes?
For both Japan and USA I have included attack carriers that can carry 3 planes.
I also divided land based fighters from fighter aircrafts.
For example for the USA:
- land based fighters: Lockheed P-38 Lightning (original miniature); Curtiss P-40 Warhawk (modified Spitfire); North American P-51 Mustang (modified russian fighter);
- fighter aircrafts: Grumman F6F Hellcat (miniatures from A&A Pacific); Chance Vought F4U Corsair (modified Stuka).

These are the aircraft carrier units that I have chosen:

Escort carriers.
Both United Kingdom & USA: Bogue class.
displacement: 16,620 t.; Armament: 2 guns x 102 mm.; Fighters: 24 planes.
Cost: 12
Attack: 0
Defense: 2 (during naval battles and antiaircraft fire);
Movement: 2
Fighters: 1

Fleet carriers.
Italy: Aquila class.
displacement: 27.800 t.; Armament: 8 guns x 135 mm.; Fighters: 51 planes.
United Kingdom: Illustrious class.
displacement: 28.661 t.; Armament: 16 guns x 114 mm.; Fighters: 36 planes.
Germany: Graf Zeppelin class.
displacement: 33.550 t.; Armament: 16 guns x 150 mm.; Fighters: 50 planes.
U.R.S.S.: Illustrious class.
displacement: 28.661 t.; Armament: 16 guns x 114 mm.; Fighters: 36 planes.
Japan: Hiyo class. [because I have repainted the British Illustrious miniatures]
displacement: 26,949 t.; Armament: 12 guns x 130 mm.; Fighters: 53 planes.
United States: Yorktown class.
displacement: 25,500 t.; Armament: 8 guns x 127 mm.; Fighters: 90 planes.
Cost: 20
Attack: 2 (during naval battles).
Defense: 2 (during naval battles and antiaircraft fire);
Movement: 2
Fighters: 2

Attack carriers.
Japan: Shinano class. [as per original miniatures]
displacement: 71.890 t.; Armament: 16 guns x 100 mm.; Fighters: 50 planes.
United States: Essex class.
displacement: 36.380 t.; Armament: 12 guns x 127 mm.; Fighters: 90 planes.
Cost: 26
Attack: 4 (during naval battles).
Defense: 4 (during naval battles and 2 hits for sunk);
3 (antiaircraft fire).
Movement: 3
Fighters: 3
Dagon81 wrote: If I use gray for Italian Territory...what should I use for Neutral counties? Any suggestions? white?
For the Italians territories you can try this RGB colour, R = 102, G = 102, B = 102 it approximately the grey-green colour used for our uniforms during WWII. Maybe you can add little bit more green in order to differentiate it from the Germans territories depending on which type of grey you have used for German.

Mimmo Flashman and IL thanks for the replies.

Im thinking about leaving the neutrals in white, the problem is that my borders will probably be white too... lol I might use the same colour as AA Revised to separate British territories.

What about a chinese colour? purple based?! :? The japanese are orange, and the british tan... I shoudnt use another yellowish colour for the chinese...

I probably use only Taranto. But Alexandria was a naval base. Tripoli and Tobruk will work only as ports unfortunatly.

What about Algiers, Oran, Casablanca, Dakar or Beirut? naval bases or just ports? Had these the possibility of repairing any kind of ships? or only small repairations? This is the most important point I want to follow when I speak of naval bases. This is what "defines" the concept I want to use.

Dragon81: The Chinese should be Dark blue to match the KMT flag.
The ports of Oran and Dakar were MAJOR naval bases for the french, so these should definitely be official naval bases. The others can be ports.

IL: yes, white is for neutrals and yellow is for Japan. I agree. However, I have considered using white for Japan in some scenarios. With that, the neutrals could be an off-white or light tan shade.
