P.S. I've just been kicked off the Avalon Hill board by the Dominatrix.
I'll have to try posting some maps here instead!

Okay, so when are they going to come OUT with the ''Volksgrenadiers''? I'd like to be getting some of them 'old Men & patched up folks' for the ''final reckoning'' games eh?

For a good book...

...on Hitler's Home Guard, get the Osprey Warrior Book, Western Front, 1944-45, Volkssturmmann.

The color plates offer a guide for painting, also older looking
regular partisan (whatever country),and,German Airforce land troops (not paratroops, maybe some airfild troops) 1/72 scale, can pass as Home Guard. Also Orion has a nice set of Homeguard Troopers, http://www.plasticsoldierreview.com/Rev ... code=72017, at 1/72 review.

Generally the Western Front Troops were next to worthless, while the Eastern front , did better. The book goes for about 4.00 new (regularly cost 17.95), via Amazon. Thanks, Pellulo
