Longest Day... because the acting was great and it was the first truely huge war epic filmed. It led to a whole series of war movies on the huge scale

I love the way the Germans were portrayed.. The acting was great. One of the first times they had the Germans actually speak German..

But Battle of Britain is a close second..
We really need an Axis and Allies World War one game so i can play that on August 1st, 2014.

You know... I think there are some really great movies out there about World War ll. My favorite WWII movie is not even a movie. It was a TV series. BUT oh my GOD...! What a series! Im of course talking about BAND OF BROTHERS - The best there ever has been and perhaps the best their may ever be.

I wouldn't even know where to begin figuring out which movie is my favorite. There are so many great ones. But, you're right, Larry, Band of Brothers was phenomenal. I actually starting watching it again immediately (literally) after I was finished watching it the first time.
