Game piece color

We've talked about Advanced A&A... Now I'd like to hear your comments on what YOU envision a DELUXE A&A GAME to be. What would it look like.

Flashman I sympathize with the fact that you're color blind. However, I do not want game pieces black, white, red, yellow or any other bright color. I have yet to buy the Pacific & Europe game because I don't care for the colors. Maybe I'm too picky. I strongly prefer military color or subdued colors. For example if blue was to represent France then I would prefer a bluish-grey, Italians green grey and so on.
i take it you don't like the napolonic age too much?

If Italian were added to the game I would like to see them in green-grey like these uniforms. http://www.diggerhistory.info/pages-uniforms/italy2.htm

As for the Chinese, if you want to be more historical you can choose a golden brown for the Nationalist Army

or a light tannish leaf green for the Communist Army

Ok

pale yellow for china

a close shade of green of UK revised for Italy

No white for japan. White is for neutrals only
We really need an Axis and Allies World War one game so i can play that on August 1st, 2014.

Sounds good to me IL.

I think the current US military camouflage sand used on the vehicles in Iraq might work well for the Chinese. It's close to the National Chinese army but give it that yellowish tint.

AA Delux should if anything have a special set of white pieces to cover all the neutrals. I really dont like the fact that they cant be attacked, turned against your enemies, or have any value in a global war game. Its like brushing problems under a rug.

As usual I agree with IL in both colours and neutrals in play.

BUT I HAVE AN ISSUE WITH THE COLOUR-MIX OPERATOR

In my A&A MB 2ed Classic, the UK infantry have a darker colour than the other UK units.

In my A&A AH 4ed Revised, the US infantry have a lighter colour than the other US units.

This piss me off. I lay awoken in the night, wondering WHY ?
Is the infantry pieces made in another factory than the ships and tanks ?
It is obvious they are not from the same tree, but how difficult is it to make a mixture of a high standard ?

But with that said, Larry, I love your games, and are your nr 1 fan in Norway.

Just look at the lovely Zeros.

Don't they look great in WHITE instead of horrible manky yellow.

Even Larry liked them!
