Remind me - I have different information - can fighters fly through neutral territories?

Why the change from OOB rules?

Presumably they cannot fly over a hostile tt either, what about contested? I assume they're not effected by enemy ships.

It was an omission, not a change.

They can fly over anything other than neutral territories.

Lets say Germany is attacking (unactivated) Belgium and Lorraine; can a German fighter fly over Belgium to take part in the battle in Lorraine, or does Belgium only stop being neutral at the end of the movement phase?

The fighter can't pass through Belgium.

Any news that those tournament rules will be permanently installed in a 2nd edition of the game. I've played with the rules a few times now...they are better than the OOB rules IMHO.

I like them too questioner a lot more. A bigger map more, more victory cities, new units and more mobilization sites and this would be my favorite AA game yet. I love the way it plays with the new combat system it changes the game completely and gives it a distinct WW1 type feel. I am hoping this would happen this year on the 100 yr anniversary but no word yet which means probably not.
