NUMBER OF GAMES

Each team is guaranteed to play 2 games during the convention weekend (one as the Axis, and one as the Allies), and each game will last a full day. The medal round games on the Monday will involve the top 4 teams with the best records from each division.

PLAYER ASSIGNMENTS

Each team may decide for themselves how nations will be divided and played throughout their gameS with two exceptions. Each player from each team must play at least 1 major power, and the United Kingdom Europe and Pacific must be played by one player and may not be divided between both players. Here is a suggestion (but certainly not a rule)...

AXIS POWERS
Player 1 - Germany / Italy
Player 2 - Japan

ALLIED POWERS
Player 1 - United Kingdom / Soviet Union / France
Player 2 - United States / ANZAC / China

TURN SEQUENCE TIME RESTRICTIONS

Each team will receive base time restrictions for each nation on their side, kitchen timers will be used to monitor the time for each nation's turn sequence. The timer must be paused when the active nation moves from stage #1 into stage #2 of their turn sequence, and must be started again at the beginning of their non-combat movement phase.

At the beginning of the game, each team will receive 8 time extension tokens which allow them an extra 5:00 on the clock if they can't finish their turn in time. Time extension tokens can be used by anyone on the team, at any time, and up to as many as they wish per turn. However, if a team runs out of their first 8 time extension tokens before the game has ended, their opponent will receive a bonus Victory Token. Also, the side that ran out will receive 4 new time extension tokens, and If the same team runs out of their second stack of 4 extra time extension tokens, they will be penalized -1 Victory Token. Time extension tokens that were not used can be traded in at the end of the day for prize tickets... each team member will get their name on a ticket and put in the prize draw for each time token their team didn't use.

AXIS POWERS
40 Min

ALLIED POWERS
50 min

BASE TIME RESTRICTIONS PER NATION

GERMANY - 15:00
SOVIET UNION - 10:00
JAPAN - 15:00
UNITED STATES - 10:00
CHINA - 5:00
UNITED KINGDOM - 15:00
ITALY - 10:00
ANZAC - 5:00
FRANCE - 5:00

TOURNAMENT SCORING

Each team must gain Victory Tokens and/or Game Tokens over the course of 2 full days, in order to have a chance to move on to the medal round games on Monday.

Victory Tokens
These are gained during game play and are listed as Victory Objectives in the house rule document.

Bonus Tokens
These are gained after game play when certain conditions are met... one for each condition met.

CONDITIONS:
1. You have won your game outright without tying.
2. Your opponents did not achieve a single Victory Token for the whole game.
3. Your opponent used all 8 of their time extension tokens before the game ended.

Tie Breakers
1. The side with the most Victory Tokens (accumulated)
2. The side with the most Bonus tokens (accumulated)
3. The side with the most Time Extension Tokens (accumulated)
4. The side that scores the highest roll on 1d6
May all your rolls be ones
